    Primary Function:


    The Clinical Applications Specialist is responsible for providing the educational platform for all Lumenis platforms/devices including customer in-services, workshops, and course programs.

    Responsibilities expend to support the needs of sales, marketing, and the engineering departments in matters relating to clinical.


    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
    Execute Lumenis clinical training and educational activities according to company policies. Report on a timely basis to the appropriate Manager, Field Service, and appropriate Sales Associate.


    Provide the primary execution of training at customers' facilities after a system is installed including didactic presentations, virtual training, and hands-on treatment guidance and support.

    Maintain and follow customer progress with continued support according to Lumenis policy.

    Provide support when requested, at workshops, events, tradeshows and courses where Lumenis equipment is being demonstrated or displayed.

    Participate in the clinical development and promotion of all Lumenis products as needed.

    Provide clinical input to Engineering, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Field Service regarding equipment performance and new product specifications.

    Support database communications between the Lumenis team and Lumenis customers.

    Provide on-call clinical support (during business hours) to include to the reporting of adverse events.

    Ensure all training activity is documented, training certificates delivered, and work orders closed with 72 hours of training completion.


    Qualifications:
    Medical Esthetician, Laser Technician, RN (Perioperative Nursing experience a plus), CRNP, PA-C, MD, DO.

    Knowledge of lasers and/or IPL technology strongly desired. Experience or familiar with Lumenis Aesthetic (CO2) systems highly preferred.

    70% travel is required within the designated territories with occasional weekend travel. May also include some international travel.

    Training skills and the ability to build professional relationships with corporate clients.


    PC literate with strong focus on Microsoft Office, web-based training and documentation tools the ability to interact with and to support sales team efforts.

    Highly organized individual with good-time management skills.

    Strong communications skills.
