- Remote in territory (AZ, CA, NV, OR, UT, WA)
- Metro areas with major airport preferred
- Drive year over year sales growth of Smoke Guard Products through the exclusive distributors' network.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with owners, distributors, and staff
- Facilitate direct sales in support and leads to distributor's sales staff
- Provide active support, with Fire Protection Engineers as needed, to job specific judgements
- Deliver continuing education training for professionals to grow specification success and train Distributor's staff to do same.
- Meet with Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) in support our Smoke Guard products and proper enforcement of non-compliant competitors.
- Provide code expertise and interpretation for assigned region.
- Assess competitive position in territory, develop action plan to improve competitive success in the territory.
- Develop short and long-term market forecasts for the territory and develop plans to achieve maximum growth.
- Establish sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for distributors
- Maintain and expand customer base by counseling distributor sales representatives; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities.
- Support product enhancement and quality by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.

- Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience in promotion of architecturally specified building products highly preferred
- Experience with full-cycle sales, from prospecting to finalizing contracts, executing territory sales strategies, and developing and closing new business
- Prior experience preparing and delivering compelling presentations to professional and technical audiences.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's/bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or similar field of study preferred
