    Job Title: Senior Oracle IT Programmer/Software Engineer III

    Location: Houston, TX Onsite

    Immediate Opening:

    We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle IT Programmer/Software Engineer III to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will play a critical part in devising and modifying procedures to tackle complex problems, considering various factors such as computer equipment capacity, limitations, and desired outcomes. You will be responsible for developing or modifying application programs based on detailed specifications, ensuring robust coding, testing, debugging, and comprehensive documentation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems, taking into account computer equipment capacity, limitations, operating time, and desired results.
    • Develop or modify application programs based on detailed specifications.
    • Code, test, debug, and thoroughly document programs.
    • Develop and maintain application interfaces, reports, conversion programs, and custom functionalities.
    • Identify conflicting business practices and integration issues, recommending alternative solutions.
    • Provide technical support for Oracle eBusiness Systems modules, particularly in the Financials suite and/or Projects, with a strong focus on Oracle eBS Release12.2+.
    • Utilize SQL, PL/SQL, and XML expertise to optimize system performance and functionality.
    • Utilize Oracle tools such as Oracle Forms and Reports, BI Publisher, etc., to enhance application capabilities.
    • Develop shell scripts and possess proficiency in Linux and Unix environments.
    • Exhibit in-depth knowledge of backend table structures for any Oracle eBusiness system module.
    • Leverage extensive Oracle database experience to support system operations effectively.
    • Demonstrate advanced debugging skills in OA Framework and proficiency in OAF Personalization.
    • Collaborate effectively in a multi-developer, team environment.
    • Preferred experience in Apex development.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 10 years of related industry or technical experience preferred.
    • 10+ years of experience with technical support of Oracle eBusiness Systems modules, specifically Financials suite and/or Projects.
    • 5+ years of experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and XML.
    • 5+ years of experience with Oracle tools: Oracle Forms and Reports, BI Publisher, etc.
    • 5+ years of experience with Linux, Unix, and developing shell scripts.
    • 10+ years of experience with backend table structures for any Oracle eBusiness system module.
    • 10+ years of Oracle database experience highly preferred.
    • 4 years of experience with advanced debugging skills in OA Framework.
    • 4 years of experience with OAF Personalization.
    • Experience working in a multi-developer, team environment preferred.
    • Experience in Apex development is preferred.
