Responsible for performing and observing laboratory tests on patient specimens and correctly recording all results. Uses and maintains all laboratory equipment correctly. Perform all testing following all policies and procedures approved by the Laboratory Medical Director, including all safety regulations.


MT Regulatory/Educational Requirements:

Minimum of a Associate of Science Degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry or Biology.1-3 years Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist experience preferred.

National certification ASCP or AMT or eligible.
Current certification in BLS CPR.

Language


Skills:
Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Additional languages preferred.
Excellent customer service skills.


Skills:
Basic computer knowledge.
Strong communication skills. THIS POSITION WILL REMAIN OPEN FOR A MINIMUM OF 5 DAYS. AFTER THAT DATE, THE POSITION WILL CLOSE WHEN A SUITABLE CANDIDATE IS SELECTED.
