Southeast Texas HR is seeking a dependable Diet Technician to join our team in the hospital and healthcare industry. As our Diet Technician you will be responsibilities will be:

• Entering meal selections and printing meal tickets for each meal for all units, reconciling them to Health Touch to make sure all patients get their meals; responding to system alerts for diet changes, new admits, printing new tickets and taking them to supervisor on tray line.
• Contacting patients who are getting special meals and taking orders and entering them into HT system.
• Ensures that HS snack and Tube feedings are put in system and are given to hostesses to process.
• Follows all food and physical safety policy and guidelines in performing their job; as well as, maintaining knowledge of different diets and restrictions associated with them, utilizing Health Touch to determine if a patient can have something based on nutrient content.
• Takes part in and follows all mandated food safety programs and education requirements; as well as, follows CARES service behaviors in every day interactions.

Requirements
To be considered for this position you MUST meet the following:

• Have 2 years experience working in the food industry.
• Have 2 years of computer experience.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift/push/pull 20 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain proof of immunization records.
• Ability to work weekends.
• Pass all pre-employment screening including background screen and drug tests.
