    RN Position Job Notes:

    Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

    Job Details:


    • Work 12.5-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

    • 48 guaranteed hours per week

    • Every other weekend required

    • No call requirements

    • Float as needed to other units

    • Patient ratios: 1:4-5 during day shifts, 1:5-6 during night shifts

    • Work with high acuity and cardio patients in a fast-paced environment

    • 2 years of acute recent care experience required (MUST HAVE)

    • High-acuity and cardio experience strongly preferred

    • Equipment experience required: IVs, PCAs, epidurals, air mattresses, Ketamine drips, complex wounds and burns, trauma care, tube feeding, NGs, drains, Foleys, Heparin drips, Wound Vac dressings, specialty beds, central lines, PICCs, PEGs, Trachs, chest tubes, JPs

    • EMR system: EPIC

    • BLS certification required

    • Must complete online education modules

    • Dress code: Any color scrubs acceptable, fragrance-free unit, no AirPods/headphones, hoodies, unprofessional attire, tight/ill-fitting clothing, open-toe shoes, logos/graphics, gel polish, or artificial nails

    • Must be a quick learner, team player, flexible, adaptable, and accountable

    • ASAP start available

    Facility:

    This medical center operates a 44-bed medical surgical telemetry unit with embedded intermediate care capabilities (6 additional beds). The facility specializes in high-acuity patient care and maintains a fast-paced, team-oriented environment focused on providing excellent patient outcomes. The unit handles complex medical conditions including cardio patients, post-operative care, trauma, burns, and various medical surgical cases requiring close monitoring and advanced nursing skills.
