    Who we are:

    Sentinel Emergency Solutions is a St. Louis based authorized Rosenbauer dealer with territories in Missouri, Illinois, and Indiana. Founded in 2014, Sentinel Emergency Solutions is an authorized Rosenbauer dealership and service center and has sold over 430 fire trucks. We are also a distributor for many fire equipment vendors such as MSA, Task Force Tips, Lion Turn Out Gear and Hurst Jaws of Life.

    What we are looking for:

    The Outside Apparatus Specialist is the relationship manager for all direct sales activities to fire departments, fire districts, ambulance districts and any other entity or industry who would purchase firefighting equipment, fire trucks or ambulances. This is a full-time position with territory in Central Missouri.

    Duties:

    • Call on all potential customers in your assigned territory. Sales calls will include product presentations and hands-on demonstrations (with and without other company representatives). See all customers AT LEAST annually.
    • Learn and use QuickBooks or other software for proposals, sales orders, etc.
    • Develop and implement effective and efficient high impact sales plans.
    • Manage and build strong relationships with end-users via direct contact.
    • Focus on pull through marketing activities, such as product promotions.
    • Promote new and used truck sales and work with apparatus specialist on projects
    • Control expenses within allotted budget for travel, office, and product samples.
    • Track and administer sales activity in CRM system
    • Capable of writing own proposals and specifications.
    • Must be able to work nights as volunteer fire departments are only available at night and on weekends.
    • Must be able to make over-night stays. Approximately 25% of time.
    • Other duties as needed.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Physically fit; able to lift 75 pounds. Perform hands-on demonstrations
    • Motivated self-starter (ability to work alone and unsupervised)
    • Strong organizational skills-High energy and enthusiasm combined with a superior work ethic
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Track record of consistent follow-through.
    • Strategic thinker.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with the proven ability to forge long term relationships.
    • Computer literate using Microsoft Office
    • Capable of completing paperwork using proper punctuation, spelling, and grammar
    • TEAM oriented.
    • Must be capable of obtaining a valid Class B CDL license within 90 days.
    • Have clean driving record.
