- Reviews and designs required documentation for new products
- Prepares work/safety instructions
- Prepares fixtures, tooling, testing, and assembly aids
- Prepares inspection criteria and product data files
- Assists with set-up of production machinery as necessary
- Supports manufacturing processes and machinery; including maintaining TPM records
- Assists with the training and mentoring of manufacturing associates
- Investigates new technologies and processes
- Ensure legal compliance with state, federal, and OSHA requirements
- Ensure ISO procedures are followed
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- High School Diploma
- A bachelors degree in an engineering discipline is preferred
- A minimum of 2-5 years experience in product assembly management or an equivalent of education and experience
- Experience with wire harness design, tooling and production is a major positive
- Must have the ability to read and comprehend C.A.D., electrical schematics, wire cut lists, and written process/safety instructions
- Investigate manufacturing operational issues and recommend solutions
- Ability to communicate to all levels in the company
- Team player with positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Excellent decision making and leadership skills
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple activities at the same time
- Ability to adapt to changing operational conditions
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
- Experience with Material Resource Planning is a plus
- Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills required
- Excellent math skills
- Frequently lift or move 25 pounds, occasionally moving up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Possible occasional travel may be required
