    Software Engineer

    Location:
    Reston, VA (on-site client environment)


    Clearance:
    TS/SCI with polygraph

    In this role you will apply technical resources to accelerate the timely, reliable and secure delivery of open source data, information, and insights.

    This project is seeking to expand existing capabilities by augmenting its automated data collection development team with additional skilled developers capable of co-locating with end-users to rapidly develop and execute new techniques for data collection.


    Desired Qualifications:
    Demonstrated experience developing web-scraping tools, along with providing tools for large-scale automated collection of website data.

    Demonstrated experience performing ETL activities including, but not limited to, parser development and deployment; data flow management; implementing data lifecycle policies; troubleshooting data access issues; and developing data models

    Experience developing, building, and deploying custom automated collection capabilities in a cloud environment.

    Demonstrated experience with Python, Linux shell scripting, and Docker.

    Demonstrated experience maintaining Jenkins Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines with automated testing and deployment.

    Demonstrated experience with cloud services including Lambda Functions and Layers, S3, Batch, EC2, EventBridge, SQS, IAM Roles, DynamoDB, and Container Services
