Join Cottage Health as an Cardiac Sonographer at Cottage Cardiology Clinic.

The Cardiac Sonographer (Clinic) performs echocardiograms and related stress exams and calculates measurements to obtain data used in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with possible cardiac related symptoms in the outpatient clinic setting.

LEVEL OF EDUCATIONMinimum:
Completion of an AMA approved training program

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSMinimum:
Registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Cardiac Sonographer Basic Life Support Certification


Preferred:
ACLS Certification

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTSMinimum:
Operational knowledge of echocardiography and electrocardiographic equipment. Knowledge of basic human anatomy and a thorough knowledge of cardiac anatomy Knowledge of basic and advanced arrhythmias. Ability to operate computers.


YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCEMinimum:

Six months of adult echocardiography experience

Preferred:
5+ years of adult echocardiography experience.
