    Travel : 30%As a member of the Engineering team, the Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and installing equipment for plants globally.

    Our portfolio includes ASRS systems, automated conveyor, pallet elevators, stackers/DE stackers, pallet turntables, automatic labelers, shipping trailers, and build line integration.


    The Role:
    Your work will include, but not be limited to:Following health, safety, environmental regulations, and safety protocols (safety harnesses, fork truck, scissor lift, boom lifts, LOTO)

    Building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among all team membersCommunicating across cross-functional groupsBeing responsible for projects from technical specification to startup supportDesigning and developing all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment, and programming using Lear standards and build upon with innovative ideasWriting, implementing, and debugging PLC softwareProviding support to existing Lear automated equipment globallyDeveloping predictive maintenance indicators to increase reliability and reduce downtime (CBM, Industry 4.0)Developing contingency and disaster recovery plansYour Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Software EngineeringThree years experience in a controls engineering role at an automation/machine build shop.
    Must be a self-starter, team player, work well with others, and have a positive attitudeMust be a creative thinker, results oriented, focused, and attentive to detail and accuracyExpert in RSLogix5000, Studio5000, and Factory Talk View StudioKnowledgeable of I/O link, AB components, drive control, Keyence camerasAbility to read and create electrical drawings in AutoCADMust have ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlinesUnderstand and communicate applicable safety standards: general industry, machine guarding, robot safety, automated vehicles, conveyor safetySelf-driven and willingness to work long hours during installations, if required#J-18808-Ljbffr
