    The Registered Nurse acts a leader in the healthcare system at SOVAH Danville by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with patients and their support systems, collaborating with physicians and other team members to provide optimal patient care, utilizing evidence-based practice in care, and providing compassion in care for our patients.

    SOVAH Danville is a 250 bed hospital located in Danville, VA, and is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network committed to making communities healthier with acute care, rehabilitation, and behavioral health facilities from coast to coast.

    Qualifications:

    A current VA (or Multi-state) RN license and possess a nursing degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor's degree preferred). Additional requirements include:

    • American Heart Association Basic Life Support
    • Experience in acute care hospital, preferred
    • American Heart Association ACLS within 6 months of hire
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) American Heart Association OR Emergency Nurse Association (ENPC) required, or within six (6) months of hire
    • Trauma Nurse Certification Course (TNCC) Emergency Nurse Association, preferred
