    About this job:

    We are looking for a highly motivated and reliable Senior Investment Operations Associate to join our Global Investment Operations team in Stamford. Candidates are sought who have a strong investments and operations background and are eager to continuously learn and improve their skills. A key role of the team is the day-to-day operations of a global investment portfolio.

    The role provides the opportunity for making an important contribution to the Investments business area. We are looking to fill this role with someone who has a proactive personality, is self-driven, and can easily grasp new concepts. The candidate will contribute to the team's success with excellent analytical skills, an eye for detail as well as the ability to excel in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

    About the role:

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Daily and monthly cash and position reconciliations.
    • Trade confirmation and settlement, securities and cash transfers, and corporate action processing.
    • Performance reporting, account setup, management reporting, audit support, and collateral management.
    • Set up and management of reinsurance trusts.
    • Management of off-balance sheet collateral reports and counter-party exposure reports.

    Qualifications

    About you:

    • An in-depth understanding of:
    • Fixed-income investments including government securities, corporate bonds, mortgage-backed securities, bank loans, LP investments and public and private equity
    • Foreign exchange forward agreements, settlement
    • Derivative collateral agreements (CSAs)
    • Some experience with the following is a plus:
    • Repurchase agreements
    • Securities lending
    • Solvency II and NAIC RBC

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related.

    Experience:

    • 10-15 years of investment experience, with at least 5 years in an investment operations role.

    Other Required Skills/Experiences:

    • Practical knowledge of Bloomberg AIM, CTM, and Clearwater Analytics.
    • Advanced use of Microsoft Office tools including advanced Excel
    • Assist with any requests on any aspect of the group's investments from the CIO, auditors, and legal entities.
