- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of staffing requirements for various departments within the healthcare facility
- Monitor and track staffing levels on a daily basis to ensure appropriate coverage for all shifts
- Verifying credentials of new onboarding staff members, and completing necessary paperwork
- Coordinate and schedule training and orientation for new staff members
- Communicate with existing staff to identify and fill any scheduling gaps or last-minute changes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of staffing schedules, employee absences, and other important information
- Act as a liaison between department managers and staff to address any scheduling conflicts or concerns
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and policies related to staffing and employee scheduling
- Proactively identify and address potential staffing issues or challenges and develop solutions to mitigate them
- Highschool Diploma, or GED
- Must have experience with hospital credentialing
- Experience in staffing or recruiting preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time-management skills
- Experience with an applicant tracking system or credentialing software a plus
- Ability to quickly learn new software

Job DescriptionLakeshore Talent is seeking a Medical Staff Coordinator to provide support for one of our well known Hospital systems in Aurora, CO. This candidate will be in charge of reviewing credential applications, primary source verification, ensuring that applicant meets qualifications for privileges, and working in credentialing database (MSOW).
Employment type: Contract to hire
Duration: 3 months to start, with potential to move perm
Schedule: Standard working hours, Monday through Friday, with 40 hours a week
Location: Aurora, CO
Pay: $22/hour
