    The Opportunity:

    That's why we need you, an experienced test engineer and service desk te chn i cia n with attention to detail that possesses excellent communication skills to make sure our team releases and operates the best sof tware possible.

    We're seeking a highly motivated system tester with analytical skills and hands-on manual testing experience to work on a complex custom coded web-based sof tware application.

    You'll provide support to Tier 1 and Tier 2 service desk for government database and analytical sof tware.

    You are a strong individual contributor and can work as a part of the team to deliver expertise in a variety of Sof tware Quality Assurance concepts, practices, and procedures.

    As a test engineer on our team, you'll work with requirements analysts, developers, engineers, and subject matter experts as part of a team evaluating sof tware developed for government agencies such as the Department of Defense.

    You'll help build a test plan with test cases based on user stories.

    Using automated and manual processes, you'll generate data reports and execute the test cases to see how the sof tware performs.

    You will then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool.

    During breaks in the development cycle, you will directly interface with system users through client service desk activities. You'll build experience in cloud development, large scale, small scale, and big data systems.     You Have:
    * 1+ years of experience with system testing methodologies and the Sof tware Development Life Cycle ( SDLC )
    • Experience with IT Helpdesk Support to end users either in person, through email, or over the phone
    • Experience with Agile methodology such as JIRA or Confluence
    • Experience supporting O365 and SharePoint Online environment
    • Ability to analyze, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve end user IT issues such as sof tware applications
    • Ability to assess and understand system and functional requirements
    • Ability to create and update test cases and perform requirements traceability to ensure all requirements are tested and accounted for

    You Have:

    • Experience with DoD and joint training networks
    • Experience with automated sof tware and system testing
    • Experience leading and managing Tier I, II, and III Helpdesk Te chn i cia ns, including monitoring ticket volume and performance metrics while supporting the team
    • Ability to understand Quality Assurance processes and follow process guidelines
    • Ability to work in a team-oriented, inclusive, and collaborative work environment to achieve consensus
    • TS/SCI clearance
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, CS, or a Computer- related field
    • Security+ Certification or similar

    Testing Certifications Clearance:
    Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Secret clearance is required

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

    The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137, annualized USD).

    The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
