MGC, a growing, highly-respected, technology-driven law firm with 22 locations across the U.S.and growing, and recently awarded 2022 Best Places to Work in the Carolinas, is hiring a New Business Intake Specialist in our Columbia, SC office.
Preferred candidates will have experience working either in an administrative role in a claims department in the insurance industry, or in a similar role handling conflicts checks and opening new files/clients at a law firm.
Aderant experience also a plus.
Primary responsibilities include running conflicts checks, opening new clients and files in Aderant, Reopening files, handling client sort and matter id changes, handling email requests that come to the New File Requests and Aderant File Maintenance inbox, and helping to maintain accurate and timely information in Aderant.
This position is eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, but would prefer candidates be based in SC or NC.
