We are seeking a motivated and responsible Local Driver to join our team for the Canada Shuttle service. The ideal candidate will transport goods safely and efficiently between designated locations while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Perform regular equipment, tractor, and trailer inspections to identify operational issues and ensure vehicle safety.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain and service vehicles as needed, including fuel, tire pressure, and clean windshields.
• DOT Regulations: Comply with Department of Transportation regulations and maintain accurate records of working hours.
• Timely Deliveries: Operate company vehicles to transport goods within local routes in Canada, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries to meet scheduled timelines.
• Vehicle Safety: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Accurate Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to coordinate schedules and resolve issues.
• Traffic Laws and Policies: Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety on the road.

Requirements

• CDL-A: Hold a valid Commercial Driver's License with an endorsement for Air Brakes.
• 2 Years of Experience: Have at least two years of driving experience, preferably in logistics or transportation.
• Valid Passport or Passport Card: Possess a valid US Passport or US Passport Card.
• Clean Driving Record: Maintain a clean driving record with no major violations.
• Previous Driving Experience: Have previous experience as a driver, preferably in logistics or transportation.
• Strong Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Time Management: Demonstrate the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
