    Job Summary The PGY1 Residency is a one-year postgraduate training program intended to provide pharmacy graduates with a variety of advanced practice skills.

    The criteria for an ASHP accredited residency include providing training in primary care, acute care, pharmacy administration practice, medication safety, staffing and additional projects.

    At the end of the 1 year residency, the resident will be competent working as a pharmacist in multiple healthcare environments, demonstrate the ability to effectively work in an interdisciplinary team, provide direct patient care services including disease statement management and develop leadership skills.
