We are looking for a JR Project ManagerEstimatorwith some knowledge and experience in transmission & distribution preferred Under general supervision the right candidate will be trained in the organization and oversight of ensuring projects are completed in a timely and efficientmanner The perfect candidate will be well versed in Microsoft ProjectBasic schedulingSupporting Project Manager with daily operational tasksAdministrative and logistical project supportThe goal is to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirementsand without exceeding budget This is a full time entry level position located in Lancaster KY and will require business related travel throughout the surrounding areas Candidates must be located in or willing to re locate to Lancaster KY

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with 3rd partiesvendorsWillingness and ability to establish labor equipment material and sub contractor requirements based on project needHelp develop coordinate and reviewwork plansAssist in assigning work activities and projectsHelp identify opportunities for improving service methods proceduresAttending pre bid meetings job walks help determine scope of work requirementsParticipates development administration assigned program budgetWilling learn forecast funds needed staffing equipment materials suppliesHas drive stay informed new trends innovations utility constructionindustry Ensuring accuracy completeness estimate working operations project management during estimate preparationParticipation bid review processCreate submit estimate reportsbids appropriate persons PMs clients bidding competitions etcCreate maintain comprehensive project documentationMeet budgetary objectives make adjustments project constraints financial analysisDevelop spreadsheets diagrams process maps document needsTrack performance analyze successful completion short long term goalsAble read understand specifications documentations necessary preparing proposals Performs other related assigned duties as required
