Job Summary

Diez, Dupuy & Ruiz, LLC (DDR) is looking for a senior accountant to help perform audit/review/compilations and other accounting services.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

· Executing the day-to-day activities of audit engagements of various clients

· Efficiently manage team members, primarily on financial statement audits, from planning the engagement, coordinating with client, and timely review of team members work

· Identifying and communicating accounting and auditing matters to managers and partners

· Preparing complex financial reports, including statements, footnotes, supplemental information and all other client deliverables

· Assisting in the developing and training of staff

Skills:

· Ability to handle multiple engagements simultaneously

· Strong communication skills, oral and written

· Time management and organizational skills

· Ability to interact with staff

· Good critical thinking skills

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting

· CPA or CPA candidate

· 3 + years of public accounting experience

· Governmental audit experience a plus but not required

· Proficient with Microsoft Office
