    Primary ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Rail Bridge Engineer, we'll count on you to:

    Serve in a technical role, under the direction of a Project ManagerOversee the work of EITs and Junior Project EngineersPrepare detailed engineering designs for rail projectsTake responsibility for project involvement, ranging from site feasibility analysis to final design and through the construction phasePerform other duties as neededTravelPercentage of local travel - 0%Percentage of travel greater than 40 miles - 0%*LI-MJ1QualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseDemonstrated hands-on experience using AutoCAD, MicroStation, InRoads and InRailMust be able to work both independently and in a team settingMS Office software experienceExcellent oral and written communication and project management skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustPreferred QualificationsMinimum of 2 years experience in transportation design - railroad projectsPreference given to local candidatesWhy HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for it's also about what you do and how you do it.
