    Job Description A home health company located in Lancaster, NY is currently seeking a qualified Registered Nurse Educator to join their team full-timeCheck out the details below:

    Title: Nurse Educator – Registered Nurse RN

    Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire

    Setting: Home Health

    Location: Lancaster, NY

    Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8a-4p or 8:30a-4:30p

    Pay: Up to $71,000/yr plus a full benefits package

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    The Registered Nurse Educator assumes responsibility for staff orientation, competency assessment, and professional development of the organization's staff.

    Duties to include but not limited to:

    • Provides efficient and effective educational services and resources which enable staff to meet patients' and customers' needs of service excellence and evidence based practices
    • Plans, develops, and facilitates opportunities for staff to continuously refine and advance their competencies in patient care, teaching, critical thinking and judgment
    • Responsible for the competency of all graduated students in performing necessary skills to safely perform functions and tasks
    • Other duties as assigned
    REQUIREMENTS:

    • ADN required; BSN preferred
    • Licensed RN in NY or compact nursing license
    -2 years of RN experience preferred; 1 year of home health experience preferred

    • BLS certification
