Backend Engineer – Follow Up Boss API Integration + CRM-Adjacent Features

Job summary
We're an early-stage startup building intelligence and workflow tooling on top of existing real estate CRMs.We're looking for a product-minded backend engineer who can start by integrating with the Follow Up Boss (FUB) API and potentially expand into building CRM-adjacent features inside our product.
This is not a "build a CRM from scratch" role,and not a Zapier/no-code automation project.
- Pull structured CRM data (read-only to start), such as: Contacts / leads Tags
stages statuses Basic activity metadata Normalize
and deliver this data cleanly into our backend - If the initial work goes well,
this role may expand to include CRM-adjacent features such as Read-only or enriched contact views Custom filters summaries or prioritization logic Internal notes insights or recommendations generated by our system Lightweight workflows that augment (not replace) the CRM
