    What you will do

    • Repairs and maintains clinical equipment (patient beds and stretchers) to the manufacturer's specifications.
    • Performs scheduled and nonscheduled PM checks as needed.
    • Documents work orders and PM checks.
    • Orders parts and materials as needed.
    • Assists clinical staff with equipment In Service or technical documents when required.
    • Communicates in a clear and timely fashion to staff on status of repairs.
    Qualifications

    Education Qualifications

    • High School Equivalent / GED Required

    Skills and Abilities

    • Strong Mechanical and Electronics back ground. (Preferred proficiency)
    • Solid knowledge of Electronics and mechanical basic operation. (Preferred proficiency)
    • Solid understanding of trouble shooting flows and diagnose failures. (Preferred proficiency)
    • Ability to complete electrical safety and basic operation of electrical/electronic testing equipment. (Preferred proficiency)
    • Basic troubleshooting knowledge. (Preferred proficiency)
    • Knowledge or experience with Patient beds including critical care beds (Preferred proficiency)

    Licenses and Certifications

    • Technical certificate from an electrical and/or mechanical trade school Preferred
