    Job Description

    As the plant manager you would be:
    Overseeing production quotas and schedules, ensuring inventory and shipments targets are met.
    Collaborating with purchasing department to verify, review, maintain and report on materials and production inventories.
    Facilitating and authorizing repairs or maintenance for production tools and equipment.
    Serving as a role model, support, and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental policies and practices.
    Ensuring that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures
    Overseeing production operations on assigned shift.
    Preparing work schedules to ensure efficient operations.
    Maintaining equipment and creating and improving processes.
    Ensuring that products are identified, weighed, and warehoused correctly.
    Operating and training employees on operation of computer scale systems, forklifts, balers, and other processing equipment.
    Conducting monthly inventory alongside different departments.

    Responsible for reviewing, correcting, and submitting employee timecards in a timely and accurate manner, and submitting all payroll documents to appropriate departments by the deadline.

    Conducting performance evaluations constructive in a timely manner.
    Coordinating with human resources to respond to employee concerns or complaints.
    Coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees with the assistance of human resources.

    Performing other duties as required, including, but not limited to operating heavy equipment used in recycling including sorters, crushers, and granulators.
