- Market Sector Leader (MSL) for the Transportation business line that works closely with company executives and senior leadership to create a sustainable and profitable business.
- Responsible for overseeing and developing all aspects of our business around Transportation for the company.
- As the Transportation MSL, represent the firm in the industry on the front line of the market.
- Responsible for identifying strategic opportunities on behalf of the firm, securing the work in accordance with our strategic plan, determining the appropriate return on investment given the timing of indirect to direct allocations, developing sustainable client relationships and management, and basically assuming responsibility of the health of the overall operating business unit.
- Responsible for working with all disciplines and offices within the company to sustain the culture of the company.
- Responsible for ensuring the company has the right talent and technical staff to execute the work at a high level of quality and profitability.
- Responsible for the overall success of the firms presence in the Transportation market.
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
- 15+ years of experience in Transportation project delivery
- PE License in the State of Ohio
- ODOT Prequalifications preferred

Osborn Engineering is seeking a highly experienced leader in the Transportation Engineering profession to lead Osborn Engineerings Transportation business line in Ohio, covering our current office locations in Cleveland, Akron and Columbus, and future potential Ohio office locations.
This position reports to the Infrastructure Division Head and collaborates with the other regional Division Heads and other Directors in the company and staff in the Transportation Department.
This individual is responsible for aligning directors, managers, and staff with the various transportation markets, communicates with project managers and clients to ensure expectations are being met, assists with implementation of the Companys strategic plan within the markets, leads business development and proposals efforts, and manages all activities, either directly or by delegation, within the Transportation business line, both administrative and technical.
Founded in 1892 with a specialization in roads and bridges, Osborn is one of the oldest and most respected engineering firms in the country.
Today, Osborn is a fully integrated multi-disciplined design firm that uses a specialized team approach to engineering projects.These teams are comprised of a staff of more than 235 professionals that provide designs for all phases of a wide range of projects.
