Job summary
We are offering an exciting opportunity at LJA that will allow you to grow through hands-on experience and exposure to a broad range of clients and services. As a Construction Inspector at LJA Transportation, you will be responsible for possessing an understanding of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) construction contract documents,- Read and Interpret contract plans, specifications, shop drawings, permits and other contract documents.
- Exercise initiative and independent judgement in daily assignments and responsibilities.
- Review project inspection activities with contractors; escalate issues to supervisor in a timely manner when needed to gain resolution.
