    Job Title: Dispatcher

    Job Type: Full-Time

    Location: Metairie, LA

    Summary:

    We are seeking a highly motivated and efficient Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating, dispatching, and logistical services to ensure timely services to our clients. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and organizational skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Process requests and dispatch Technician
    2. Track and Catalogue Technician daily movements.
    3. Coordinate with technicians, and other service providers to ensure efficient operations
    4. Communicate with clients to provide updates on the status of their service appointment
    5. Continuously monitor and evaluate performance of drivers and service providers
    6. Address any issues that arise during dispatch and escalate to management as needed
    7. Participate in training and development activities as required
    Requirements:
    1. High school diploma or equivalent
    2. Prior experience in dispatch, logistics or transportation preferred
    3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
    5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    6. Knowledge of geographic locations and roadways
    7. Familiarity with transportation regulations and requirements
    8. Proficient in using computer systems and applications
    9. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
    10. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

    Compensation: $0.17 - $0.18 per hour

    As an appliance repair technician, you'll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you'll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work.

    You'll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you'll have to deal with people, too.

    Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
