    Honeywell's ACST team is in search of a Manufacturing Engineer II for our Golden Valley, MN location.

    Be part of a team that utilizes its expertise and knowledge to devise, execute, and uphold methods and processes in the manufacturing or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies. Leveraging your technical skills, you will establish programs, manufacturing instructions, and develop tooling for new or existing product lines.

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Create, refine, and revise fabrication processes for production
    • Survey and designate equipment for enhancing production capabilities
    • Devising fixtures and tooling for prototypes and production
    • Collaborate with a team to formulate PFMEA's, Control plans, and detailed work instructions
    • Oversee multiple projects across various product stages

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • U.S. Citizenship for acquiring and retaining government security clearance
    • Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution in a technical field like sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics
    • 3 years of hands-on experience in design, production, and experimentation within a manufacturing setting
    • Proven expertise in machining principles related to tooling and process requirements for meeting design specifications
    • Proficiency in creating prototype & production fixtures and tooling

    WE APPRECIATE:

    • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (Mastercam preferred)
    • Competence in computer-aided drafting/design tools (Solidworks preferred)
    • Capability to assess a design for manufacturability and offer feedback along with solutions
    • Experience in transitioning components and processes from R&D to manufacturing
    • Proficiency in designing fixtures and tooling
    • Experience with PFMEA's & process qualification activities
    • Enthusiasm for hands-on involvement
    • Experience in training and guiding technicians
    • CNC machining background
