Sr Plant Plastic Process Engineer

Global CPG leader is looking for a Sr Plant Process Engineer to support plastic extrusion and thermoforming operations.

Relocations assistance is available.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead Engineering support for plant to include plastic extrusion, thermoforming, and printing.
• Establishes, coordinates and directs plastic extrusion, thermoforming and offline printing process-improvement initiatives involving new methods, equipment and materials, and defines specification standards accordingly.
• Monitors equipment condition to maintain necessary performance levels with the plant teams.
• Provides technical operations support for extrusion, thermoforming, and printing manufacturing problems. Develops and leads process-improvement initiatives to address specific issues as they arise.
• Develops OEE and quality improvement plans with the plant teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelors in Engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years of plant experience in technical and management roles - well versed in all facets of plant operations and maintenance with a strong emphasis on safety.
• Required: Technical experience to include process support and working/hands-on knowledge of plastic extrusion processes and thermoforming at large scale
