    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Facilitate the open flow of information between management and team members so all colleagues understand Company goals, values and initiatives.
    • Maintain relationships across the Company and develop a basic working knowledge of functional roles to support problem resolution and delivery of quality service.
    • Protect the companys morals by maintaining the integrity of their business needs in all lending and account origination and servicing activities.
    • Register with the NMLSR and abide by the requirements of the S.A.F.E. Act by contacting Seattle Mortgage Loan Operations, completing a federal background check and submitting fingerprints. Maintain an active status with the registry for as long as you hold the Branch Manager position.
    • Originate consumer loans by completing application interviews with prospective clients, discussing loan options that best meet clients needs, and respond promptly to requests for financing using all digital and communication tools available to assist the client.
    • Adhere to and ensure branch staff adherence to bank policies and procedures designed to comply with federal regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot

    • Participate with HR in the recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of branch colleagues to represent the culture and perform designated responsibilities.
    • Understand and comply with applicable aspects of the EEOC.
    • Actively address staff performance issues, and provide for task and goal prioritization in order to resolve problems effectively, consulting with HR as needed.
    • Perform required management duties, including onboarding, orientation, performance appraisals and counseling in compliance with Washington Federal and EEOC policies.
    • Provide daily leadership, organization, and mentoring to branch staff.
    • Schedule staff work hours and review/approve timecards to ensure accurate payroll costs incurred for properly authorized work.
    • Maintain the Facility: Prioritize the interior and exterior of the branch are in good working order.
    • Ensure that the branch facility is clean, well-maintained and physically sound through a cadence of regular inspections by the team, such as cleaning the ATM weekly.
    • Arrange for repairs to building and grounds when necessary and in consultation with your Retail Division Manager.
    • Routinely evaluate the interior environment to maintain brand standards for cleanliness, simplicity and the proper display of promotional materials.
    • Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health standards and responsible for reporting potentially unsafe conditions.

    Successful candidates will have the following education, knowledge, and training:

    • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a financial institution
    • Basic algebra and math skills, 10-key and keyboarding, standard Microsoft Office tools, and smart phone and digital channel skills
    • Required to have valid drivers license, satisfactory transportation and adequate insurance coverage
    • Must have excellent organizational and analytical skills and superior written and oral communication skills
    • Meet all requirements of NML Registry
    • Prior experience in a supervisory/managerial position preferred; experience in sales, client relations, or prior banking experience is accepted
    • Dressing business casual; less formal than the traditional suit and tie, yet the established standard still gives a professional and favorable impression
    • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time; enter and exit an automobile numerous times per day, and negotiate rough unimproved terrain at construction sites; ability to perform routine light maintenance duties at the branch and able to lift 10 pounds
