    The Inside Sales & Technical Support Representative works directly with customers and channel partners to support and sell automation products. This role serves as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, provides first-level technical support, prepares quotations, and collaborates closely with assigned Outside Sales team members to develop new business and advance existing sales opportunities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain working knowledge of automation products, their applications, and competitive offerings
    • Learn and follow organizational workflows, systems, and operating procedures
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and proactively initiate outreach to prospective customers
    • Prepare and deliver customer quotations in a timely and accurate manner
    • Provide first-level technical support for automation products, including competitive cross-referencing
    • Respond to customer inquiries related to products, pricing, delivery, quality issues, and other requirements
    • Identify customer needs, research solutions, and guide customers to resolution
    • Capture and advance sales opportunities by leveraging internal resources and customer relationships
    • Support territory management and customer relationships in partnership with Outside Sales representatives
    • Collaborate with internal teams such as Order Management, Engineering, Finance, and other functions to ensure timely customer support
    • Perform additional related duties as assigned

    Basic Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED with 1–3 years of experience in technical support, customer service, or sales
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office xrczosw applications
    • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (written and verbal)
    • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced sales environment
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working with ERP and CRM systems
    • Associate's degree
    • Technical experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and technical curiosity
