    Position Summary This position will interface between design engineering and the manufacturing group to identify and recommend solutions to production problems. The position will also be responsible for taking test procedures generated by engineering and redlining them as needed to create high volume capable tests. The position will also train operations personnel on how to run these procedures.Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
    • Designs tools and machines used to manufacture products.
    • Reviews production program equipment, hardware, and tooling; makes recommendations for repairs or replacement.
    • Oversees the development of new processes, methods, and production controls.
    • Installs new equipment and ensures that it operates correctly; trains others to operate new machinery.
    • Prepares operations manuals for new or existing equipment.
    • Maintains knowledge of new and developing manufacturing technology, equipment, and applications; applies this knowledge to recommend and implement new technology and processes.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
    • This is an entry level engineering position – no specific experience required.
    • Excellent time management skills with an ability to meet deadlines.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess problems or issues with manufacturing equipment.
    • Knowledge of electronic production principles and techniques desired.
    • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
    Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is constantly required to communicate. The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. Frequently required prolonged periods in stationary position at a desk entering text or data into a computer or other machine by means of a traditional keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to move, position self, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally transport up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print), including use of computers, far visual acuity, and peripheral vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Salary Range$75, $85,000.00

    However, Innoflight considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills. Employees may be eligible for profit sharing and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay.
