- Assumes responsibility for patient throughput to include bed placement as it relates to level of care and appropriate staffing.
- Identifies situations and circumstances that may impact risk and liability factors and refers appropriately by following the hospital's policies and procedures.
- Provides operational and administrative support to include patient care, facilities and emergency management.
- Serves as a resource to staff for clinical and regulatory issues.
- Thorough knowledge of emergency management protocols, risk identification and regulatory requirements.
