- Perform high-quality obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations, including 60-minute anatomy scans and fetal anomaly screenings.
- Conduct specialized scans such as fetal echography, biometry, fetal wellbeing assessments, and Doppler studies.
- Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment, specifically GE Voluson machines with Viewpoint software.
- Manage a daily patient volume of approximately 8–10 patients, ensuring each individual receives dedicated time and thorough imaging.
- Generate accurate reports on examinations and procedures to be sent to referring physicians.
- Demonstrate techniques and procedures to students and residents as assigned.
- Collaborate closely with MFM physicians to assist with procedures such as amniocentesis or first-trimester screenings.
- Education: Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
- Certification: Current and valid ARDMS (OB) certification is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
- Experience: Previous experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) is strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with GE Voluson equipment and EPIC EMR is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Must demonstrate strong clinical empathy and the ability to work with high-risk patients with a high level of care and sensitivity.

Job Description
Medix is currently seeking a skilled Ultrasound Clinician for an exciting travel opportunity with one of our valued healthcare partners. In this role, you will work within a high-risk Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) clinic, providing essential diagnostic imaging to patients in a supportive ambulatory setting. This is a travel assignment where you will represent Medix while providing high-level clinical care at a premier specialist facility.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep sense of empathy and excellent customer service skills, as many of the patients seen in this practice are navigating high-risk pregnancies or complex medical conditions.
