- Contribute to system hardware and software architecture decisions based on customer performance, schedule, and cost requirements
- Design electrical architecture and integrated systems for real-time, mission-critical systems including flight systems, sensors, and ground control stations
- Perform hardware and software design/review/build cycles for prototype construction and implement plans for prototype testing at customer location
- Troubleshoot network issues on virtual and physical switches and firewalls
- Use scripting languages to develop automated network installation and configuration using Bash, PowerShell, Java, and Python
- Develop engineering technical material including but not limited to System Description Documents, System requirements, Data Flow Documents, and Network Diagrams
- Experience developing systems using Linux and Windows computing environments.
- Experience with operating system virtualization utilizing Type I and II hypervisors (vSphere, KVM, VMWare Workstation)
- Experience with containerization (i.e. Docker and/or Podman)
- Experience with Cisco Systems, network administration and firewalls.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Experience with C, C++, and C# development.
- Strong understanding of general computing system architectures and virtual machines.
- Experience performing remote network configuration.
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
- Active Secret security clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Security+ SE and a Network+ SE
- Experience with data center architectures (cluster computing, fault-tolerant, or high availability system)
- Experience writing technical documentation
- Experience creating automated systems
- Experience deploying and maintaining container orchestrators such as Kubernetes
- Bachelor's degree or six (6) years of more of related experience
