    RN Position Job Notes:
    Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for
    ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

    RN - ED ER


    Job Details:

    • Work in Emergency Department with 101 beds serving as Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center
    • Maintain patient ratios of 4:1 typically for medical patients, up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds
    • Every other weekend scheduling requirement with flexible scheduling to meet department needs
    • Float within all sections of the Emergency Department (no floating outside ED)
    • Work with high volume emergency department handling over 100,000 visits annually
    • Use Cerner documentation system
    • Operate baxter pumps and GE monitors
    • Follow AIDET patient experience standards and maintain respectful patient interactions
    • Update patient boards with information and provide patient updates throughout visit
    • Required to have 2 years nursing experience with at least 1 year in ER setting
    • Must demonstrate teamwork mentality and ability to coach and give feedback in real time

    Required certifications:
    ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS (all before start date), ENPC within 90 days of hire

    Dress code requirement:
    Navy scrubs


    • Previous Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center experience preferred
    • Previous HCA experience preferred
