The Information Technology Department has an opening for a Advanced Engineer Quality, who can participate in the entire spectrum of tasks associated with Quality Engineering

for Supply Chain applications .

This position is open for Vancouver, BC location

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Drive project QA deliverables, partner with dev leads, identify and resolve roadblocks

Manage scope, schedule, staffing, risk and communication wrt QA project

Lead a team of QA engineers, review work and mentor and groom the QA associates

Optimize product quality by participating in architectural and technical design sessions.

Responsible for manual and automated test execution as needed

Implement holistic functional and test automation strategies to maximize test coverage and productivity while tightening test cycle time

Guide the geographically located test engineers on the project(s)

Act as technical QA liaison to IT and Business groups.

Drive practice improvements through innovation and test automation, and i mplement cost-effective solutions, best practices, standards and guidelines for automating test

Understand business and technical requirements

Conduct system testing to ensure functional and end to end reliability

Responsible for overall test design

Conduct QA and End to End test flows

Conduct defect logging, tracking and triaging

Create and Maintain Regression suite

Qualifications:

4 year degree (Computer Science, Information Systems) and/or equivalent combination of education or work experience

10+ years of QA experience including strong familiarity with test automation frameworks, processes and technologies.

Experience working with contemporary Warehouse Management Systems integrated environment for example Manhattan Active WM

5+ years of experience in leading and performing testing for complex integrations and interdependent applications.

Database testing experience with SQL, Oracle, DB2, Snowflake, Apache Kafka

Experience in testing and version control tools like Zephyr/JIRA and GIT

Experienced with fast-paced software development lifecycle using Agile/Scrum, Waterfall and hybrid methodologies on proprietary and/or packaged software

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Strong ability to mentor, coach and train junior test engineers

Preferable automation experience with

Selenium Webdriver with Java, Selenium GRID,

TestNG, Java Script ),

SOAP UI, Postman, Maven, Python, Shell Scripting, Java and other automation tools

along with CI/CD expertise
