    Position Summary:

    This role involves conducting diagnostic tests on patient samples to assist physicians in diagnosing and monitoring various medical conditions. Responsibilities include maintaining laboratory records, adhering to policies and procedures, and upholding quality control standards in the lab. This position reports to the Laboratory Director.


    Minimum Education:

    An Associate of Applied Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field is required, along with certification as a MLT (AMT, ASCP, or NCA).

    Applicants must satisfy one of the following educational criteria:

    • Graduated after April 24, 1995, with an associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science
    • Graduated before April 24, 1995, from an approved medical laboratory training program or completed a US military medical laboratory procedures course
    • Completed education and training equivalent to an associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology

    Minimum Work Experience:

    Previous laboratory experience is preferred for this position.

    Required Skills:

    The ideal candidate will possess critical thinking abilities, sound judgment, and the capacity to function effectively with minimal supervision. Additionally, the ability to perform under pressure and take appropriate actions is crucial.

    Language Skills:

    Proficiency in communicating in English, both verbally and in writing, is essential for this role.
