This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a top Tampa Law Firm. Our client is looking for an exceptional professional candidate for this position who has excellent verbal and written communication skills, is capable of working in a fast-paced environment, has above average computer software skills, takes ownership of work and projects. The work week is 37.5 hours.

This position requires litigation experience and the willingness to also work at an executive level to support partners and/or associate attorneys with their legal work.

List of job requirements.

• Typical duties will include preparing, proofreading and finalizing pleadings, motions, orders and correspondence;
• efiling with the courts;
• State and Federal Court experience
• being able to look up court dockets;
• scheduling meetings, hearings, depositions, mediations and trials;
• preparing notices; managing the calendar for court events, deadlines;
• following up with your attorneys regarding upcoming hearings, meetings and deadlines;
• communicating with all parties involved in a matter; via telephone, email and other forms of communication;
• managing and profiling emails, documents and files and other legal assistant duties.
