We're looking for experienced Assembler who wants to be a part of growing our business.

Our production team will run on a 4-day work week (Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 4:30pm), with potential opportunities for overtime on Fridays.

What You'll Do

The assembler will be responsible for assembling various components in the manufacture of assemblies/sub-assemblies of various heavy-duty vehicles. This role has the job knowledge and skills to work in every station proficiently on an assembly line with the ability to troubleshoot various components of a machine.

What You Bring

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned.

• Assemble, fit and install parts to form subassemblies or finish products using hand and power tools.
• Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and connect cables, tubes and wires.
• Fasten parts using bolting and riveting equipment or other fastening and joining techniques.
• Operate cranes to transport or position larger parts as required.
• Read drawings to measure, attach and modify assemblies
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components; Ability to read electrical and hydraulic diagrams to preform repairs identified during the troubleshooting process is required.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures, rules, and proper 5S standards; use best practices to follow all safe procedures in assembling and testing of all models/products in assigned job function.

Minimum Qualification

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• The ability to stand for long periods and lift/move objects up to 30kg (65lbs).
• Strong coordination for efficient and safe assembly.
• Proven attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures and instructions.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to work within a team environment.
• Ability to interpret and understand work instructions to effectively perform job tasks
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings (electrical/hydraulic and assembly drawings)

Preferred Qualifications

• Six (6) months of previous manufacturing or assembly line environment is an asset.
• Previous experience interpreting and understanding engineering drawings (electrical/hydraulic and assembly drawings).
