About the role:
As a Software Engineer, you would work with bleeding-edge technology as you build innovative fintech products that change the way the world pays, banks, and invests.
This will involve developing core versions of software applications, identifying client requirements and technical specifications, interacting with engineering groups, and training clients on applications.
About the team:
Our web application is a next-generation one-stop place where customers can view and manage their payment data. We work in a collaborative SAFe environment to deliver effective solutions for our customers using payment platforms.
We're looking for proactive and like-minded team players who are interested in working in the Fintech sector for building robust and scalable applications in a rapidly growing market.

Drive innovation and operational performance in the deployment of new functionality, services, and products.
Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
Drives the performance tuning, re-design, and refactoring for a module.
Address challenges of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platform integration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in driving operating and service excellence
Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Identifies new solutions and opportunities in FIS's service offerings. Handles multiple tasks and can switch between them.
Attend overnight releases as needed
Demonstrates excellence in technical assessment and implementation coordination.
Executes continuous improvement efforts and delivery commitments are met consistently.
What you will need:
Multiple years of experience in software development methodologies and best practices.
Multiple years of experience building applications using Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring boot, Hibernate, JavaScript, and HTML
Multiple years of experience with React or Angular JS
Multiple years of experience with cloud computing, AWS, and microservices technologies
Multiple years of experience building web services in SOAP and/or REST with technologies like spring boot, spring-ws, spring MVC, or JAX-RS
Multiple years of experience in developing highly scalable and reliable web applications, including integration with internal and external systems.
Experienced in microservices
Experience working collaboratively using Agile/Scrum methodology
Experience consuming web service endpoints (e.g. REST, SOAP), strong REST Webservices development, Jenkins, SQL server, DB2 preferred.
Working experience with Gradle, GIT, GitHUB, etc. around continuous integration and continuous delivery infrastructure
