- Day-to-day remediation operations on a Superfund remediation site, working directly with the US Environmental Protection Agency
- Conducting groundwater analysis at several locations on site
- Manage modeling aspects of larger projects and model-centric projects including developing and tracking scope, schedule, and budget
- Daily reporting and documentation
- Environmental sampling (soil, water, air), laboratory coordination, and procurement, organization, and analysis of environmental field data
- Develop statistical and graphical comparisons of model results and data
- Assistance with planning documents for new environmental projects
- Assistance with environmental permitting for new projects
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering, or closely-related field required
- Minimum 5 years' remediation experience required, experience with chlorinated solvents preferred
- 10 years' remediation experience preferred
- Professional Engineer License preferred
- Professional Geologist License preferred
- Must be willing to travel
- Familiarity with Florida environmental regulations is strongly preferred
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word and Excel)
- Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; highly organized and detail oriented
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Must be able to pass government background check
- Immediate needs for in and near Miami, FL area with future travel possibilities
- Regional travel required occasionally; travel costs (housing, gas, etc.) provided by company
- This is an on-site work environment consisting of both site-based and office-based work in addition to regional travel
- Site work will require periods of standing, walking, bending, lifting, etc. as required for project supervision and work duties
- Applicants must be able to drive to facilitate occasional regional travel

Currently, we are looking for a senior geologist to support an ongoing Superfund site remediation project in Miami Gardens, Florida. The Superfund Program is a nationwide environmental remediation program administered by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA); this project is a direct remediation effort to neutralize subsurface contaminants and prevent their spread into nearby groundwater. The senior geologist completes day-to-day remediation operations oversight, groundwater modeling, developing comparisons between model results and data, sampling, reporting, planning, and permitting requirements for project-specific needs.
