- Perform a variety of technical financial duties in assigned area including receiving, processing, monitoring and recording financial or property transactions
- Post information to various ledgers, registers, journals and logs
- Balance financial data
- Maintain records of all transactions
- Receive, review and distribute financial transaction documents including purchase orders, invoices, customer service accounts, and vendor data
- Responsible for cross matching account summary statements
- Responsible for day-to-day accounting and clerical duties to support daily operations by performing the following tasks:
- Prepare bank deposits and import daily deposit data in QuickBooks
- Reconcile accounts, bank statements, and credit card transactions and identify discrepancies
- Assist with payable & receivable
- Assist and support all company personnel
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Must have High School Diploma or GED
- 2-3 years of directly related technical accounting experience
- Must have knowledge of bookkeeping with hands on experience with accounting software (QuickBooks)
- Must have experience with Excel creating spreadsheets, using formulas, etc.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage large number of detailed data
- Well-organized, accurate and attentive to detail
- Prioritize and manage detailed tasks within deadlines
- Must have excellent time management skill
- Associates Degree from an accredited college or university, with major course work in accounting, finance or related field
- 1-3 years experience in oil and/or real estate industry (preferred)
- Willing to submit to criminal background check and drug screen
