About the Role:

Chai Vision is entering a new stage of operational scale. We are hiring a strategic technology leader to own and elevate our entire technology function.

As Head of Technology, you will lead four core pillars: IT infrastructure and security, automation and AI, data integrity and governance, and systems development and integrations.

This is a build-and-optimize role. You will create structure, reduce complexity, and ensure our systems enable growth.

• IT Infrastructure and Security — Own the company's IT environment, devices, access controls, and security protocols.
• Automation and AI — Lead automation strategy, identify inefficiencies, and deploy AI-driven solutions across operations.
• Data Integrity and Governance — Hold accountability for company-wide data quality. Oversee developers and admins to ensure pipeline integrity and reporting accuracy.
• Development and Integrations — Drive system integrations and SQL-based infrastructure across ERP, marketplaces, and internal tools.
• Non-negotiable: You will lead a team spanning development, automation, and integrations. Hands‑on leadership from day one.

What You'll Own:

This role is 70% maintaining and managing existing systems, 30% building from scratch. You inherit a functioning technology environment and are expected to stabilize, optimize, and selectively evolve it.

• Company-wide technology strategy and systems roadmap
• ERP governance and optimization
• Data infrastructure, integrity, and reporting alignment
• Systems integrations across sales, finance, and operations platforms
• AI and automation initiatives tied to measurable business impact
• IT infrastructure, security, and platform stability
• Technology tool evaluation and rationalization
• Leadership of a multi-functional technology team
• You will serve as the strategic bridge between business leadership and technical execution.

Who You Are:

• YoExperienced leading technology functions in eCommerce, retail, or distribution environments
• Comfortable in both executive strategy conversations and technical deep dives
• Strong ERP background, Sage Intacct or similar platforms preferred
• Experienced with integrations, middleware, and multi-platform environments
• Working knowledge of AI and automation applications in business operations
• A team builder who develops technical talent, not just manages it
• Someone who simplifies complexity rather than adds to it
• Energized by growth environments where architecture must evolve with scale

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

You will work closely with Finance, Operations, Data, and Executive Leadership to ensure technology investments directly support company objectives. You will also manage relationships with key platform and systems partners to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.

Tools & Environment:

We operate within a modern eCommerce and retail systems ecosystem that includes ERP, inventory management, reporting platforms, middleware integrations, and business intelligence tools. Our environment requires strong systems orchestration and thoughtful architecture to support multi-channel growth.
