    Role Summary

    We are looking for a Sr Business Operations Analyst to join the Global Operation team at Splunk.

    Global Operations is a cross-functional team that partners with senior leaders across the company, focusing on high-impact strategic projects and analysis.

    This role will give you the ability to work closely with colleagues across the organization to identify, structure, and act on the most exciting strategic and operational questions impacting our business.

    Team members are experienced in business strategy and operations, analytical and strategic, yet highly pragmatic and committed to continuous improvement.


    You will play an impactful role in building operational excellence and support critical initiatives that enable Splunk's scale and growth.

    While you thrive in ambiguity, you're highly organized, diligent and are passionate about designing and implementing processes to keep everyone on track and ensure all projects are delivered to completion.

    This role is hybrid and requires the applicant to come into Splunk's Plano office three times a week.

    What you'll get to do
    Operationalize the Executive Rhythm of the Business (RoB), including annual planning, QBRs, and MBRs; ensure content meets quality expectation
    Develop framework to track and coordinate dependencies across functions to enable decisions and ensures progress of corporate initiatives; identify risks and blockers to company goals, and raise issues to leadership
    Track and report progress against corporate priorities, initiatives, and OKRs; ensure accuracy and quality when tracking actuals against plan
    Lead and support the development and implementation of the annual operational plan in collaboration with Finance
    Assist in the annual strategic planning process - collaborating with a broad set of partners. Help align efforts and outcomes with the annual financial planning process
    Manipulate and analyze large and complex data sets to distill insights; connect disparate ideas into cohesive, well-grounded recommendations using creative, effective, structured and analytical thinking
    Build executive-level presentations for leadership reviews; communicate sophisticated information in an easy to understand format

    Must-have Qualifications
    5+ years of experience in a management consulting, business analysis, and/ or comparable technology industry role with a Bachelor's degree in a related field
    Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders across functions
    A successful track record of leading through uncertainty and ambiguity in critical, enterprise-wide, multidisciplinary initiatives
    Excellent communication and presentation skills; experience building compelling PowerPoint/Google Slides presentations

    Experience with Google Sheets, SQL, Tableau a plus
    Passionate around quantitative analysis, Excel, and reasoning

    Base Pay Range

    SF Bay Area, Seattle Metro, and New York City Metro Area

    Base Pay Range:
    $108, ,500.00 per year

    California (excludes SF Bay Area), Washington (excludes Seattle Metro), Washington DC Metro, and Massachusetts

    Base Pay Range:
    $97, ,650.00 per year

    All other cities and states excluding California, Washington, Massachusetts, New York City Metro Area and Washington DC Metro Area.

    Base Pay Range:
    $86, ,800.00 per year

    Splunk provides flexibility and choice in the working arrangement for most roles, including remote and/or in-office roles. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location.

    Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location as set out above, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate.


    In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for incentive compensation and may be eligible for equity or long-term cash awards.
