System Software Engineer/Application Support (AI/ML/LLM/NLP)

Location:
ONSITE in Dayton, Ohio

As a Finch AI System Software Engineer, you join a dynamic and agile team in the development of new Finch products.

This critical position will integrate our AI/ML/NLP/LLM solution for on-premise customer deployment. Programming languages like C/C++, Golang, Rust or Java are ideal. We are seeking a strong candidate to provide software engineering and production support in a complex network environment.

Responsibilities:
Understand product requirements and create solutions involving investigation, design, programming and testing
Perform programming/scripting in a variety of languages on multiple Platforms including Linux
Perform software testing and debugging to create high quality deliverables
Maintain or create documentation
Assist in creating and deploying software solutions
Work collaboratively with the team to manage simultaneous projects

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
C, C++, Golang (Go), Java or Python preferred
Linux -Red Hat (RHEL) preferred
Kubernetes preferred
Prior experience working with NLP and ML applications is a plus

Education and work experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related engineering field
5+ years of related Agile development experience
5+ years' experience in overall software development and distributed applications
Must be a US Citizen and hold an active TS/SCI Clearance
