- Monitor cardiac patients and interpret telemetry readings.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies, including vasoactive drugs.
- Provide pre and post-operative care for cardiac catheterization patients.
- Coordinate with healthcare teams to facilitate patient care and interventions.
- Educate patients on their conditions and treatments.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac telemetry or progressive care unit.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
- Pass/Fail EKG exam required prior to start.

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Night shifts, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) with up to every other weekend coverage.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will focus on cardiac patients and provide care in a telemetry unit. Candidates should be proficient in managing dysrhythmias, telemetry monitoring, and pre/post cardiac procedures. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and ensuring quality patient care.
