- Accurately complete corresponding delivery paperwork and work with production, sales and customers to communicate issues with loads and delivery time
- Performs daily Pre-Trip, Inter-Trip, and Post Trip Inspections.
- Responsible for the delivery of products to customers, contractors, and jobsites throughout the location geographic region
- Work well with team members or independently; give and receive feedback in a constructive manner
- Identify and assess compliance issues; collect, review, analyze, test, and verify compliance related evidence
- Inspect fleet equipment and review equipment maintenance for roadworthiness and compliance with DOT, state, and CMC policies
- Assist with review and oversite of driver coaching for issues generated from onboard camera systems
- Conduct audits to determine compliance with DOT and/or state rules and regulations as well as CMC policies and procedures
- Conduct required training for personnel operating commercial motor vehicles
- Work with all locations to ensure compliance in their transportation operations and DOT Electronic Logging Device (ELD)
- Ability to pass a company road test
- Maintain electronic or paper logs of working hours
- No more than 1 moving violation in the previous 3 years
- No violation for speeding excessively, 15 mph or more above the posted speed limit in previous 3 years
- Pass required D.O.T. and CMC Logistics drug testing programs and physicals as required by D.O.T.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver License required
- High School Diploma or GED required
