JOB DESCRIPTION The Car Wash Attendant is tasked with performing the daily operational practices of running the car wash facility and providing excellent customer service.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Always be ready to assist customers with menu options and payment Provide customers with information and benefits of the fast pass program at the pay stations, vacuum stations, & gas pumps to provide best possible customer service.
Guide cars onto the track with a focused, pleasant, and competent demeanor Perform visual inspections of the condition of each vehicle prior to entering the tunnel Ensure all vehicle parts are properly secured before entering the tunnel.
Ensure the safety of customers and fellow employees by instructing customers on how to enter tunnel Be sure the vehicle is fully stopped once in tunnel.
Instruct customers to put transmission in neutral, do not engage the brakes and keep hands off steering wheel Be proficient with all policies and procedures and able to perform them on a daily basis as needed Be able to know how to use certain equipment for them to be able to work efficiently Keep the entire property spotlessly clean and ensure everything is kept in the proper place and organized Check for maximum suction, keep vacuums unclogged, hoses hung properly, and trash cans emptied Be polite and available to address all customer concerns and handle them in a professional manner Work safely and report safety or maintenance issues to management Strong ability to handle the physical demands of the job Perform Any other duties that are assigned QualificationsWORKING CONDITIONS:Must be able to work various shifts, weekend, extended hours and to have a flexible work schedule. Onsite supervision is generally present during each shift.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have the ability to lift at least 50 pounds. Must be able to stand for hours at a time.
Must be able to work outside during all seasons (summer heat, winter cold and rain) Must be able to work in a fast pace environment while maintaining a high energy level.
